David moved to Oregon in 2016 after a lengthy international career, which took him through several Eastern Canadian provinces, the UK, France and the United States.
Upon his arrival to Oregon, David has continued to leverage his HR and Operations skills to help coach business owners and budding entrepreneurs. David is also strongly committed to building stronger communities, which has included leadership of a non-profit organization in the education space as well as leadership in community and professional organizations.
As Dr K.’s father, David was eager to partner with his daughter to help found and operate a feline only veterinary clinic, by pairing his HR and Operations experience with Dr K.’s medical know-how. They share a passion for operational excellence, rigorous planning, and transparent communications (and cats!).
While David’s role will mostly keep him in the office, you may see David out and about the clinic, helping with operational tasks, greeting clients, or lending a hand when we are extra busy.
David and his wife Dawn have three cats, Tequila, Amaretto, and Budica as well as his dog, Whiskey.
David loves fishing, international travel, partaking of the fine wine, craft beers, and local cuisine of Oregon. That said, he most enjoys the company of his 3 children, their spouses, and 5 granddaughters.
